This design concept is for AdSwapper, founded in 2016 by Amos Angelovici. AdSwapper is a an web-based phone application that makes advertising beneficial to brands, advertisers,  and consumers. AdSwapper allows brands to effectively advertise towards specific consumers and gives consumers power over the ads they see. Digital advertisements are switched out with ads that pay the consumer to view them, directly benefiting the consumer. Advertisers can afford to pay for views because consumers provide information about themselves, increasing their value to brands.

 

The icon was designed to communicate the benefit of the app—that consumers are empowered by AdSwapper to take control of their phones and make money. The vibrant greens were used to symbolize wealth and to support the post-modern characteristics of the design, which supports the feelings of empowerment. A medium brown was chosen for the skin color to include everyone.

While this brand concept was later used to influence AdSwapper's brand, this design was not chosen by the client as the final product.
